Winter vacations in Jammu’s Summer Zone Schools extended till 12 January, schools to reopen on 15 Jan:-  Directorate of School Education Jammu (DSEJ) Saturday extended the winter vacations for Jammu summer zone schools, in view of inclement weather conditions.

In view of extreme cold weather conditions, the winter vacations of Government/Private recognized schools functioning in Summer Zones of Jammu Division, ordered by this office vide order No.1354-DSEJ of 2023 dated: 18-12- 2023 are further extended till 12-01-2024.

However, all the teaching staff shall resume their duties w.e.f. 08-01- 2024 and HOIs shall ensure classes for class 10th to 12th through online mode during the extended vacation period.

Any laxity in this regard from any Government/Private School shall be viewed seriously and dealt under rules.
