University of Jammu Invites Applications for Research Assistant Position under PAST 2025-26 Project: The Department of Library and Information Science, University of Jammu (An A** Grade University, Accredited by NAAC) has announced an opportunity for aspiring researchers to work on a prestigious project funded by the Archives at NCBS. The project is titled “Preserving and Digitizing Marginalized STEM Histories of Jammu and Kashmir” and is part of the Program for the Archiving of Science and Technology (PAST) 2025-26.

Research Assistant
- Number of Positions: 01
- Monthly Emoluments: Rs. 37,000/- (Fixed)
- Duration: 10 Months
- Maximum Age Limit: 35 Years
Eligibility Criteria
- A Postgraduate degree in Library and Information Science or allied discipline with a minimum of 55% marks.
- NET/M.Phil./Ph.D. qualification is desirable.
