University of Jammu Announces New Dates for Postponed Exams at GDC Ramban: Jammu, May 11, 2025 – The University of Jammu has officially released a revised schedule for the Undergraduate 6th Semester (CBCS) examinations of Govt. Degree College (GDC) Ramban, which were earlier postponed due to a cloudburst incident in District Ramban.
The affected exams, originally slated for April 22nd, 24th, and 26th, 2025, will now be conducted on May 14th, 16th, and 18th, 2025, respectively.
This update comes as a relief to students who had been left uncertain about the next steps following the natural disaster. The cloudburst had caused considerable disruption in the region, prompting the university to defer the scheduled exams in consideration of student safety and accessibility.
The official notification was issued by the Joint Registrar (Exam. Conduct), Dr. Raj Kumar, under reference number Exams.Conduct/25/3150-3157, dated May 11, 2025.
