Summer Vacations Announced for Schools in Jammu Division (Summer Zone): Directorate of School Education, Jammu – Order No. 186-DSEJ of 2025 The Directorate of School Education Jammu (DSEJ) has officially declared the summer vacation schedule for all government and recognized private schools falling under the summer zone of Jammu division.
According to the latest order, students will enjoy summer vacations from 7th June 2025 to 16th July 2025.

- For Students: Summer break starts on June 7, 2025, and ends on July 16, 2025.
- For Teaching Staff:
- All teachers are required to report back to their respective schools on July 14, 2025, for preparations ahead of reopening.
- These preparations include:

- Lesson and timetable planning
- Readiness of ICT labs and infrastructure for any online or blended learning
