Over 2500 Aspirants Appear for GNM/ANM CET 2025-26 in J&K: Srinagar, May 18: The Jammu and Kashmir Board of Professional Entrance Examinations (JKBOPEE) successfully conducted the Common Entrance Test (CET) for GNM (General Nursing and Midwifery) and ANM (Auxiliary Nurse Midwifery) courses for the academic session 2025-26 today across centres in Srinagar and Jammu.
In the Kashmir division, the examination was held at prominent institutions including Amar Singh College, KGP Gogji Bagh, Institute of Advanced Studies in Education (M.A. Road), and S.P. College, Srinagar. In the Jammu division, candidates appeared at Government SPMR Commerce College and GGM Science College.
A total of 2,513 candidates appeared in the exam, showcasing the growing interest in nursing and allied health services among students across the Union Territory.
To ensure a smooth and fair examination process, JK BOPEE made comprehensive arrangements in collaboration with local college administrations and law enforcement agencies. The entire process was conducted under the leadership and guidance of Professor Minu Mahajan, Chairperson JK BOPEE, and was closely monitored by officials including the Controller of Examinations, Secretary, and Board members.
The Chairperson personally visited exam centres in both Jammu and Srinagar, overseeing the arrangements along with a monitoring squad. The Board extended sincere thanks to the district administration and police departments, especially IGP Jammu/Kashmir, for their support in ensuring a secure and seamless exam environment.
