New Age Limit Prescribed for Jammu and Kashmir Combined Competitive Examination (CCE) 2024: Srinagar, 9th November 2024 – The General Administration Department (GAD) of Jammu and Kashmir, in a recent notification, has revised the upper age limit for candidates appearing in the Jammu and Kashmir Combined Competitive Examination (CCE) for the year 2024. This change has been made under the authority granted by the fourth proviso to clause (ii) of sub-rule (1) of rule 8 of the Jammu and Kashmir Combined Competitive Examination Rules, 2018.
According to the updated guidelines, the upper age limits for candidates in various categories are as follows:
- Open Merit Candidates: [35 Years]
- Reserved Category Candidates and In-Service Candidates: [37 years]
- Physically Challenged Candidates: [38 years]
This adjustment in age limits aims to provide a fair opportunity for a broader range of candidates, ensuring that qualified and deserving individuals can compete for roles within the Jammu and Kashmir administration.
