JKSSB Provisional Selection List for the Post of Finance Account Assistant: Provisional Selection List for the post of Accounts Assistant, Finance Department, UT Cadre, advertised vide Advertisement Notification No. 04 of 2020 dated 16.12.2020, under Item No. 106.

Whereas, the Finance Department, vide Indent No. FD/Coord/08/2020

Dated: 19.11.2020, forwarded the requisition for making direct recruitment to the 972 posts of Accounts Assistant, (UT Cadre) Level-5 (29200-92300) as per the following break up:

The requisite qualification for selection against these posts, as per the Indent, is as under:

Graduation in any stream from any recognized university with minimum of 50% marks for Open Merit and 45% marks for Reserved Category. However, candidates having post Graduate Degree with 50% marks or holding PhD Degree or equivalent shall also be eligible for selection.

Whereas, the Jammu and Kashmir Services Selection Board (JKSSB), advertised these 972 posts as per the category-wise break up given hereinabove, vide Advertisement Notification No. 04 of 2020 dated 16.12.2020 under Item No. 106, for seeking applications from the eligible candidates. The Cut-off date for the receipt of the online application form was 31.01.2021;

Whereas, the Jammu and Kashmir Services Selection Board (JKSSB) Conducted the Written Examination for the post of Accounts Assistant, Finance Department, on 28 of January, 2024;

Whereas, the JKSSB, vide Notification No. JKSSB COEOEXAM/(UT)/105/2023-04 (7372799) dated 09.02.2024, issued the Result Score-Sheet of the candidates who appeared in the OMR Based Written Examination held on 28.01.2024 for the said post. Thereafter, schedule of the Documents Verification (DV) of the candidates falling under the consideration zone were notified vide notification No. JKSSB-COEOEXAM/(UT)/105/2023-04 (7372799) dated 11.02.2024 and Supplementary Document Verification (DV)

Whereas, the JKSSB vide Office Order No. 69-SSB of 2024 dated 14.02.2024, constituted a Selection Committee for preparing the Selection List for the post of Accounts Assistant, Finance Department, UT Cadre, advertised vide Advertisement Notification No. 04 of 2020 dated 16.12.2020, under Item No. 106;

Whereas, the Provisional Selection List for the aforementioned posts prepared as per the merit / eligibility of the candidates and having regard to the extant rules/regulations was placed before the Board at its 262d meeting held on 23.02.2024, which, after deliberations and consideration of the matter, approved its notification.

Now, therefore, after taking into consideration all the aforementioned factors:

The Provisional Selection List of the candidates for the post of Accounts Assistant, Finance Department, UT Cadre, advertised vide Advertisement Notification No. 04 of 2020 dated 16.12.2020, under Item No. 106, is hereby notified as per Annexure-A, which shall be available on the official website of the JKSSB.
The Provisional Selection List shall also be subject to the outcome of writ petition(s)/OA(S), if any, pending in any court of the law of the competent jurisdiction.
The Provisional Selection List shall also be subject to the outcome of pending enquiry, if any, involving any candidate(s), as figuring this List.
This is a Provisional List only and mere figuring in it shall not confer any right to the candidates for final selection.

In case any candidate/s is aggrieved with this Provisional Selection List or intends to furnish any certificate/clarification with regard to his/her withheld recommendation, he/she may represent through the email address [email protected] within five (05) days from the date of its Notification, beyond which no representations shall be entertained.
