JKSSB Final Seniority List of the employees borne upon the establishment of Board

Office Order No./69-SSB of 2023 Dated: 30.08.2023 Whereas, the J&K Services Selection Board issued a tentative seniority list of the employees borne on the establishment of the Board as on 01.01.2023, vide No. JKSSB-ADM/2/2022-03 (E-135307) dated 04.05.2023; and Whereas, some objections were received in the Board to the aforementioned Tentative Seniority, which were examined with reference to the available documents/records; and Whereas, while majority of the representations as received pertained to the correction in the particulars, one representation was received from Syed Altaf Hussan Indrabhi, Orderly for inclusion in the seniority list. The matter was examined and it was observed that the official has not been included in any seniority lists. notified earlier for the Board officials; and Whereas, the matter was further examined and the comments of Administrative Officer, Kashmir were sought and it has been informed that the official has been appointed on compassionate grounds as per the prevailing rules, but he could not figure in the Seniority Lists as he has remained suspended for considerable period. However, pending inquiry or suspension cannot be held as grounds for non-inclusion in the seniority lists notified for the members of a service. The official has, accordingly, been included at Sr. No. 08, ahead of Ms. Satya Devi, in the list of Orderlies (now MTS).; and

Now therefore, the final seniority list of the members/employees borne ‘upon the establishment of J&K Services Selection Board as it stood on 01.01.2023 is hereby notified as per Annexure-A to this Order.

The date(s) of birth as recorded in this Seniority List shall not be taken as authentic and the same shall be subject to verification from the Service Books/Matriculation certificates of the concerned employees.
