Whereas, the requisite qualification for selection against these of posts, as per the Indent, is Graduation from a recognized University; and Whereas, the Jammu and Kashmir Services Selection Board (JKSSB), advertised these 89 posts as per the category-wIse break up given hereinabove, vide Notification No. 01 of 2022 dated 27.01.2022, for seeking applications from the eligible candidates. The cut-off date for the receipt of the online application form was 10.03.2022. As per the method of recruitment notified for these posts, 80% weight-age was earmarked to the performance of the candidates in the OMR Test and the Skill/Type Test carried 20% weight-age; and

Whereas, the Board, accordingly, conducted the Skill Test/Type Test for these posts w.e.f. 09.02.2023 to 11.02.2023 and the Result/Score-sheet, depicting the performance of the candidates in the Skill Test/Type Test (computer based), was notified vide No. JKSSB-COEOEXAM(UT)23/2023-03(7124203) dated 23.02.2023. This was
followed by the conduct of OMR Based Written Examination and, vide Notification No. JKSSB’COEOEXAM/(UT)/65/2023’04 (7263889) dated 04.10.2023, the Result/Merit List of the candidates in the aforesaid Written Exam post was notified; and
Whereas, the schedule of the submission of offline preferences and Document Verification (DV) of the candidates falling under the consideration zone was notified vide Notification No. JKSSB-
COEOEXAM(UT) /65/2023-04(7263889) dated 07. 10.2023 and Supplementary Document Verification (DV) vide No. JKSSB’ COEOEXAM(UT)/65/2023-04(7263889) dated 13.10.2023; and
Whereas, the JKSSB, vide Office Order No. 228-SSB of 2023 dated 13.10.2023, constituted a Selection Committee for preparing the Selection List for these 89 posts of Junior Assistant/ Junior Assistant-cum- /I Computer Operator, Department of Disaster Management, Relief, Rehabilitation and Reconstruction.
