JKSSB Final Selection List for 855 posts of Junior Engineer (Civil), Public Works (R&B) Department: Consequent upon the receipt of requisition from the Public Works (R&B) Department, vide Indent No. PWD-Adm/122/2021(Comp. No. 118431) dated 06.04.2022, the Jammu and Kashmir Services Selection Board (JKSSB), among other posts, advertised 855 posts of Junior Engineer, Civil vide Notification No. 06 of 2022 dated 11.11.2022, under Item No. 201, as per the following category-wise break up:

The JKSSB, accordingly, conducted the OMR based Examination for these posts on 19.11.2023 and, vide Notification No. JKSSBCOEOEXAM(UT)/89/2023-03 (7314803) dated 07.12.2023, the Result/Score-sheet for these posts was notified, This was followed by the Document Verification of the candidates falling in the consideration Zone, which concluded with Supplementary DV, The Final Selection List for these posts of JE (Cvil), as prepared by the concerned Selection Committee, was approved by the Board in its 2612 meeting held on 19.02.2024 and subsequently notified vide Notification No. 13 Selection of 2024 dated 21 of February, 2024, under endorsement No, JKSSBScry/2/2024-03(E-7390977).

Accordingly, the undersigned is directed to forward herewith the Final selection List of “Junior Engineer (Civil)” Public Works (R&B) Department, advertised vide Notification No. 06 of 2022 dated 11.l1,2022, as per Annexure-A to this communication. Among these 855 posts SO advertised, 01 post has been kept reserved till further examination, while as the recommendation in respect of 15 candidates is kept withheld, for want of certain clarifications.
The above Selection List shall be subject to the outcome of writ petition(s)/OA(s), if any, pending disposal before any competent Court of jurisdiction. The Selection List shall also be subject to the outcome of any inquiry, involving candidate(s) figuring in this Selection List.
The document verification/scrutiny conducted by the Board is limited to the extent of establishing physical possession of Category/Degree certificates and ascertaining
genuineness/validity or otherwise of the same and recognition status of the Institution, shall be the responsibilty of the Indenting Department/Appointing authority.
The Selection of the candidates has been made on the basis of Self declaration/Certificates submitted by them and if at any stage, it comes to the light that any candidate(s) has submitted false information or has secured selection on the basis of fake documents/certificates, the selection shall be liable to cancellation at any stage and appropriate criminal proceedings against such candidate/s may kindy be initiated.
Moreover, in terms of Government Order No.1003-JK(GAD) of 2021 dated 27.09.2021, the candidates, whose recommendations are released by the Selection Agency, shall submit their Personal Verification Roll (PVR) before the appointing authority within a
period of 21 days from its release, failing which the candidate(s) shall forego their right to
appointment forthwith.
