JKBOSE Issues Notification for Class 9th Registration Numbers for 2024-25 Session: Jammu & Kashmir, April 28, 2025:
The Jammu & Kashmir Board of School Education (JKBOSE) has officially released the registration numbers for Class 9th students for the academic session 2024-25. All affiliated Government and Private High and Higher Secondary Schools across Jammu, Kashmir, and the Union Territory of Ladakh can now access the registration details via their respective school portals.

Important Guidelines:
- If the registration return has been submitted and the fee paid by the institution but the student’s registration number is not visible on the portal, the school must inform JKBOSE within seven days.
- Correction Window:
Institutions can apply for corrections in registered particulars online from May 1 to May 15, 2025 without any penalty.
After May 15 and up to June 15, 2025, corrections will be allowed with a fee of Rs. 200 per candidate. - Submission Process:
Correction cases must be submitted offline at the respective Divisional/Sub/Branch offices of JKBOSE. Each case must be supported by:- Class 8th Original Marks Card
- Checklist with Registration Return (R.R) numbers
All documents must be attested by the Head of Institution.
- Heads of Institutions must ensure no correction case is left pending at their end.
Assistant Secretaries or Incharge Officers of JKBOSE offices are directed to verify and forward all eligible cases to the Registration Sections of Jammu or Kashmir Division both in hard and soft copy formats.
This is a crucial update for school authorities and students. Timely action is advised to avoid penalties and ensure smooth continuation of academic records.
