JKBOSE Directed to Announce 10th, 11th & 12th Results: Srinagar: Education Minister Sakeena Itoo has directed the Jammu and Kashmir Board of School Education (JKBOSE) to declare the results for classes 10th, 11th, and 12th by the end of this month. The move aims to ensure that students transition smoothly into their next academic year without unnecessary delays.
During a high-level meeting to review JKBOSE’s functioning, Itoo emphasized the importance of timely results, curriculum modernization, and IT advancements to enhance efficiency. She urged officials to streamline administrative procedures and adopt technology-driven solutions for better accessibility in the education system.
Focus on Inclusive Education
The minister also stressed the need for equitable education, particularly for Children With Special Needs (CWSN). She instructed officials to strengthen awareness programs and ensure the proper implementation of special provisions, including:

- A 5% relaxation in passing marks for board exams
- Flexible academic policies to support students with disabilities
Collaboration for Better Education
Itoo also directed the Directors of School Education in Jammu and Kashmir to work closely with JKBOSE to improve the overall education sector. She emphasized the need for continuous stakeholder engagement, student-centric reforms, and proactive policy measures to uplift academic standards.
Meanwhile, the JKBOSE Secretary presented a report on the board’s ongoing initiatives, highlighting the introduction of IT-based interventions to assist students. These measures aim to make the examination and result processes more efficient and accessible.
