JKBOSE Announces Migration and Eligibility Schedule for Academic Session 2025: The Jammu & Kashmir Board of School Education (JKBOSE) has officially released the schedule for Inter-School Migration and Eligibility for students migrating from other recognized boards for the academic sessions 2025 (for Kashmir Division & Winter Zone of Jammu/Ladakh) and 2025–26 (for Summer Zone of Jammu Division).
If you’re a student or a school head looking to migrate between schools or from other boards to JKBOSE, here’s everything you need to know in simple terms:
Category 1: Inter-School Migration (For Class 10th & 12th Regular Students)
This applies to students who want to transfer from one school to another – either within the same district, to another district, or even between divisions.
Important Dates:
- Normal Fee (Rs. 430): May 26 to June 24, 2025
- With Late Fee (Rs. 80): June 25 to July 4, 2025
- With Late Fee (Rs. 90): July 5 to July 14, 2025
- With Late Fee (Rs. 105): July 15 to July 24, 2025
- Final Date for Fee Submission: July 28, 2025
Category 2: Migration from Other Boards to JKBOSE (Class 10th, 11th, 12th)
Students from CBSE, ICSE, or any other recognized board who wish to shift to JKBOSE must apply for Eligibility cum Registration.
Fee Details:
- Normal Fee: Rs. 1,345 (Eligibility Rs. 675 + Registration Rs. 670)
- Late Fee (1st stage): Add Rs. 80
- Late Fee (2nd stage): Add Rs. 90
- Late Fee (3rd stage): Add Rs. 105
Important Dates:
- Normal Fee Submission: May 26 to June 24, 2025

Key Notes:
- Document Verification starts from May 26, 2025.
- Students who passed their Class 10th/11th/12th exams in Feb-March 2025 (Annual Regular) can apply.
- Schools must provide extra classes to migrated students to help them meet attendance and syllabus requirements.
- For students changing subjects in Class 12th, the same subject must be cleared in Class 11th. Otherwise, the result may be withheld.
