The Jammu and Kashmir Board of Professional Entrance Examinations (BOPEE) has announced the Second Round of Physical Counseling for the upgradation and allotment of seats in MBBS, BDS, DDH, and DDM courses for the academic year 2024. This counseling session is aimed at filling the seat shortfall reported from various Government and Private Medical/Dental Colleges in the Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir. The session also includes seats reserved under the Hindu Minority and NRI Quotas in ASCOMS, Jammu.

JKBOPEE Second Round of Physical Counseling 2024: Details for the Second Round of Physical Counseling

Candidates who are eligible and willing to participate must report at the BOPEE offices in Jammu or Srinagar between 8:30 a.m. and 10:00 a.m. on the respective day of counseling for Registration/Attendance and to complete other formalities.
Before attending the counseling session, candidates are advised to check the updated Seat Matrix on the official BOPEE website to ensure that seats of their choice are available in their respective categories.
Candidates who have already been allotted seats in the First Round of Online Counseling and have joined their respective colleges can participate in this round for upgradation. They must bring the fee deposition receipt from their allotted college at the time of registration. However, candidates who failed to join the allotted seat in the first round are not eligible to participate in the upgradation process.
Candidates are advised to remain at the BOPEE office during the counseling process. In case a preferred seat becomes available due to another candidate vacating it, participants can immediately stake a claim based on merit and preference.
As per the previous notification, MBBS and BDS seats under Horizontal Categories (CDP, JKPM, Sports, and PwD) will be filled during this round of counseling. Candidates must present valid certificates from competent authorities during the counseling session.
Seats under the Hindu Minority (HM) and NRI Quota in ASCOMS, Jammu, will also be filled during this round of counseling.

JKBOPEE Second Round of Physical Counseling 2024: Important Notes

The updated Seat Matrix will be uploaded on the BOPEE website soon, allowing candidates to make informed decisions about their participation.
Seats in DDH/DDM courses at Government Dental College Srinagar and Indira Gandhi Government Dental College Jammu will also be allotted during this round.
Candidates are reminded to bring valid certificates and documents, especially those under CDP, JKPM, and PwD categories.

For any changes due to technical issues or other unforeseen circumstances, BOPEE reserves the right to make necessary adjustments and notify candidates accordingly.
