JKBOPEE Second Round of Counselling for admission in Post Basic BSC Nursing Course 2023: Conduct of 2nd Round (upgradation/ allotment) of (Physical) round of counselling for admission to Post Basic B.Sc. Nursing Courses 2023 in various Private Colleges of UT of J&K.
Pursuant to Notification No. 078-BOPEE of 2023 dated 02.09.2023 where under the Provisional Selection List of candidates for admission to Post Basic B.Sc. Nursing course-2023 was issued. The Board has received shortfall from the concerned Colleges/Institutions of UT of J&K against the said Notification. In order to fill up the shortfall seats, it is hereby notified that the Board shall conduct 2nd round of upgradation /allotment counselling (Physical) on 25-10-2023 simultaneously at BOPEE office Jammu / Srinagar.
It is further notified that the Board has lowered the bench marks from 30 to 20 marks for this round of counseling, therefore, all the eligible candidates who have secured marks upto 20 in the Common Entrance Test conducted by the Board for the said course are advised to attend the counselling at BOPEE office Jammu/Srinagar as per the following schedule: –

All the concerned candidates are hereby informed that the upgradation/allotment of seats during the 2nd Upgradation/Allotment Round of Counseling shall be strictly on the basis of merit cum preferences filled by them on the day of counselling in their preference forms.
The eligible and willing candidates shall have to report at the BOPEE offices Jammu / Srinagar for Registration/Attendance & fulfillment of other formalities, from 08.30 a.m. to 10.00 a.m. on the day/date of counseling

1. All the participating candidates are advised to bring along the following documents in original at the time of counseling: –
- Domicile Certificate
- Final Year GNM Marks card/ Diploma
- Registration Certificate from JK Paramedical council
- 12th Class Marks Card.
2. It is enjoined upon all the eligible candidates that they shall attend counseling only after checking the Seat Matrix which shall be uploaded on the official website of the Board before the day of counselling.
3. Those candidates who have remained absent or got CNA/SNA during first round of Counselling are also eligible to participate in this round of Counseling.
4. The candidates who are participating for the first time in the Counseling process are advised to deposit an amount of Rs.1000/ as a counseling fee on the day of Counselling through POS Machines available at BOPEE office Jammu/Srinagar through Debit/Credit card.
5. Those candidate(s) who have been allotted seat(s) during the First Round of Counseling and have joined against the said seat/College, if interested for upgradation are also eligible to participate in the 2nd Round of Physical Counseling with the condition that they shall have to produce their fee deposition receipt of the concerned allotted College at the time of their admission in that College.
6. The candidates who have been allotted seat during 1st round of counseling but have failed to join the allotted college/ Institution shall not eligible for this round of counseling.
7. The willing /participating candidates are also informed that all the seats are available in Private Institutions only, therefore they are advised to confirm the fee structure at their own level from the respective Institutions before participating in the counseling process.
The Counseling process shall be closed as & when all the seats are exhausted on the day of Counseling and no claim from the waiting candidates, if any, shall be entertained by the Board after it.
The Board reserves the right to notify such changes as may become necessary in view of any technical difficulty or the reasons beyond its control.
The Seat Matrix for 2nd Round of upgradation/allotment counselling is annexed as Annexure-A to this Notification which shall be uploaded on the website of the Board for information of the candidates.
Due to paucity of time the Board shall issue provisional selection letter to the candidate(s) on spot after his/her participation in the counselling and the candidate(s) shall have to report to the allotted College/Institution immediately after receipt of provisional selection letter. In case the candidate fails to join the allotted College/Institute he/she shall not be eligible to participate in the subsequent round of counselling i.e. upgradation round, if any, conducted by the Board
The Board shall notify the Provisional Selection list of the candidates indicating Application Number, Name, Gender, Category, Name of Institution and Discipline after conclusion of the counselling.
The other Terms and Conditions shall, however, remain the same as notified by the Board in various Notifications/Notices issued from time to time in this regard.
