JKBOPEE Admission Form for PG Diploma in Rehabilitation Psychology Course 2023-24:- Inviting of Offline Application(s) for Admission to PG Diploma in Rehabilitation Psychology Course-2023-24 in Composite Regional Center (CRC) Srinagar.

Offline Applications on prescribed format are invited from the eligible/desirous candidates seeking admission in PG Diploma in Rehabilitation Psychology (PGDRP)-2023 in Composite Regional Centre, (CRC), Bemina Srinagar, which should reach to the J&K BOPEE offices Srinagar/Jammu upto 15.12.2023 till 4:00 p.m. The selection of the candidates shall be governed by the J&K Board of Professional Entrance Examinations Act, 2002 and the Rules and Regulations there under read with the J&K Reservation Act, 2004 as amended from time to time and the Rules there under as amended vide S.O. 127 of 2020 dated 20-04-2020 followed by S.O. 249 of 2021, dated 23-07-2021.

JKBOPEE Admission Form for PG Diploma in Rehabilitation Psychology Course 2023-24: Submission of Application Forms (Offline)

The eligible and interested candidates are required to submit the duly filled in Application Form (Annexure-A to this notification and available on the BOPEE website) at the BOPEE offices Srinagar/Jammu upto 15.12.2023 (till 4:00 p.m.) during working days only along-with payment fee of Rs. 2000/= (Rupees Two thousand only) to be made through POS machines installed in the BOPEE offices Srinagar/Jammu. The candidates have to submit the following self-attested Certificates (Xerox Copies) along with the Application Form:-

i. Domicile Certificate of UT of J&K and for the candidates of UT of Ladakh, ST Certificate issued by the Competent Authority of Ladakh shall be treated as Domicile Certificate.
ii. Qualifying marks certificate;
iii. Date of Birth Certificate; and
iv. Reserved category certificate, if any.

The candidates must bring along original certificates for verification by BOPEE office at the time of submission of the application form.

JKBOPEE Admission Form for PG Diploma in Rehabilitation Psychology Course 2023-24: Eligibility

The eligibility prescribed by the Rehabilitation Council of India for pursuing Post Graduate Diploma in Rehabilitation Psychology course is as under:-

Bachelor’s Degree (Regular Mode) with General Psychology Courses in all the three years;

Master’s Degree in any Branch of Psychology either in Regular Mode or Distance Mode;

Master‘s Degree in Counselling Psychology either in Regular or Distance Mode with a minimum of 55% marks in aggregate for OM candidates and for SC/ST/other Reserved Categories, with minimum of 50% Marks in aggregate is essential. Entry qualification shall be from a UGC recognized university.

The admission to this course is subject to production of affiliation for the said course from University of Kashmir for the session 2023-24.

The selection for the said course is purely on merit basis and the criteria adopted by the Board for the last more than three years for the purpose of short listing of candidates for preparation of Merit List is as under:

I. 90% weightage on pro-rata basis to the marks obtained in qualifying examination viz Bachelor’s Degree/Master’s Degree in Psychology as the case may be;
II. 10 additional points to the candidates possessing Master’s Degree in any branch of Psychology in addition to Bachelor’s Degree in General Psychology.
III. In case of tie, Date of Birth of candidate(s) shall be considered i.e. the candidate older in age shall be preferred first. For further tie, the first alphabet of candidate(s) name shall be considered.

JKBOPEE Admission Form for PG Diploma in Rehabilitation Psychology Course 2023-24: Note

a. Candidate must be a Domicile of J&K/Ladakh.
b. No under process certificates shall be accepted.
c. The information in the Application Form of the candidate shall in no case be construed as an acceptance of that information/category certificate by the BOPEE, therefore, if at any stage, it is found that a candidate has provided false or incorrect information in respect of any eligibility condition, his/her candidature shall be cancelled without any further notice to such a candidate.
d. Candidates having “Outstanding Proficiency in Sports” must submit their certificates to the Secretary, J&K Sports Council, Srinagar /Jammu for awarding sports points which will be then officially submitted to the Board by the J&K Sports Council. Board shall not be responsible where a candidate fails to submit sports certificates to the Council or Council fails to forward sports points of a candidate to the Board. It shall be sole responsibility of the candidate to ensure that his/her sports points are forwarded by Council to the Board. (Candidates belonging to sports category shall be considered on the basis of merit obtained in the Common Entrance Test or on the basis of the marks obtained in the qualifying examination where the Entrance Examination is not held and the sports points given by J&K Sports Council).
e. The candidates having more than one reserved category certificate can get benefit of only one category as per his choice in terms of Section 19 of J&K Reservation Act, 2004 indicated in the Application Form which in no case shall be changed afterwards. The candidate, whose category certificate shall be found invalid, such a candidate shall be considered in open merit, if otherwise found eligible, without any further notice.
f. In case there is no eligible candidate in any category, the seat of that category shall be allotted to Open Merit Candidates strictly in the order of merit.
g. Mere submission of Application Form does not confer any right for admission of the candidates in the College / Center unless and until their eligibility is confirmed by the Board.
h. No application form shall be accepted through any email and not after expiry of the cutoff date.
