Instructions For all Students before submitting On-line Application Form
- Applicant can log in to the admission portal through their registered CUET Application Number, only.
- Name and other details entered by the applicant need to be the same as in the CUET Application Form
- Applicant must use their own CUET Application Number.
- Applicants are encouraged to use latest version of Google Chrome web browser for filling the application
- Candidates should not wait for the last day to fill the UG Admission Application Form.
- It is advisable to fill the form through a desktop/laptop. Avoid filling the form using a mobile phone.
- Candidates must visit the website of various Colleges for information about the fee and fee waiver rules (if any) and Hostel facilities in the College.
- Candidate must fill the CSAS(UG)-2023 Application form with utmost care as editing will not be allowed once the form is successfully submitted.
- Candidates must remember their login details, such as CUET(UG)-2023 Registration Number, email id and password.
- Candidates are advised to exercise utmost care while filling their Class XII marks as these will become the basis for breaking the tie, if any.
- Before applying, candidates are advised to refer to the rules of various universities on their information brochure/websites for seat reservation /quota and criterion in NCC /NSS/BSG/SPORTS/ECA etc
- Candidates must upload the latest documents/certificates. The same will be required during online as well as physical verification
- Candidates must ensure that the uploaded certificates are visible and readable.
- Do not be in haste while selecting the Programs or ordering the preferences. Be patient and read the eligibility criteria of the Programs carefully
- Addition/ deletion of preferences will not be allowed after the closure of the Preference filling. Candidates must not wait for the last date of preference filling
- Candidates must check the schedule of activities for admission, which are available on the admission website
- To participate in subsequent rounds, candidates must accept the allocated seat within the stipulated time.
- Candidates must “Freeze” their admission only if they are satisfied with the allocated seat and do not want to be considered for subsequent allocations.
- Upon successful payment of the Admission Fee, the candidate must keep a record of transaction details for future reference
- Candidates must complete the fee payment process well before the deadline to avoid any last-minute haste.

About J&K (UT) Higher Education Admission Portal- 2023
Higher Education is one of the most important sectors of the development among the social sectors. The Department of Higher Education is charged with the responsibility to monitor and regulate the dissemination of Higher Education above 10+2 level in the UT by extending facilities for opening of colleges and Universities. The Jammu and Kashmir Higher Education Admission Portal – 2023 is being introduced for admission into all UG Programmes in J&K State Universities (Jammu/Kashmir University) for affiliating government colleges, Cluster universities constituent colleges and government autonomous colleges for academic session 2023-24 under the Department of Higher Education J&K. A single portal will enable the Candidates to cover a wide outreach and be part of the admissions process to J&K Higher Education Institutions.

Q.1 Where to register?
Ans. One can register at this link https://jkadmission.samarth.ac.in/. You need CUET Application Number and Date of Birth for CUET based registration. For Non-CUET based registration you will need Email ID. Mobile Number and Date of Birth.
Q.2 How to verify my account?
Ans. You will get an OTP in your email. Use the OTP while signing up and you will be verified.
Q.3 What to do If I forget my password?
Ans.
- Click on the “Forgot Password” button at the bottom of Login form.
- Enter your “Registration No./ CUET Application No. ” and captcha information as shown in image.
- Click the “Send” button.
- You will now receive the password reset instructions on your registered email id.
Q.4 How to login to my account?

- Click the “Login” button on the Home Page.
- Enter your “Registration No./ CUET
- Application No.” and “Password”

Q.5 What are the steps for submitting the application form?
Ans.
- Open the URL (https://jkadmission.samarth.ac.in/)
- Select your registration mode CUET or Non-CUET.
- Complete Registration process (which creates ‘Registration No.’ and ‘Password’ for you).
- Your ‘Registration No.’ and ‘Password’ is informed through SMS and email.
(Profile Completion )
- Login to the portal using your ‘Registration No./CUET Application No.’ and ‘Password.’
- Fill Profile Details, upload your photo, signature & other relevant documents.
- Read the instruction and declaration carefully by clicking the ‘Declaration’ box.
- Preview your Profile and Submit.
(For CUET Applicants)
- After submitting “Profile”, proceed to preference selection section
- View your available preferences based on the eligibility and save your preferences.
- Applicants may edit the preference selection before closing of the application process.
(For Non-CUET Applicants)
- After submitting “Profile”, proceed to “Apply in college” section
- Select university, college and program and submit application.
- After successful submission applicants may download the form from the dashboard.
