Srinagar, July 13(KNS): Jammu and Kashmir Students Association here on Thursday expressed serious concern about the unnecessary delay in announcing the results for the 5th Semester (Backlog Batch-2019) integrated honors examinations at Cluster University. In a statement, Umar Jamal, the National Spokesperson of the association, urged the Vice Chancellor of Cluster University, Professor Qayyum, to take immediate action and declare the results without any further delay.
He said that, the prolonged delay in releasing the results has caused significant distress among the affected students, who are eagerly waiting for their results. This situation is not only hampering their academic progress but also jeopardizing their future prospects. Many of these students have already secured admissions to well-known universities both within the country and abroad, and the delay in result declaration is hindering their ability to secure their places.
Jamal emphasized that the valuable time of these students should not be wasted due to administrative inefficiencies. The delay in result declaration is impeding their educational and professional aspirations, causing them unnecessary stress and anxiety. It is imperative that the Vice Chancellor and the university administration take serious note of the students’ concerns and promptly address this issue.
Jamal called upon the Vice Chancellor to expedite the result declaration process and ensure that the results are announced as soon as possible. He urged the university administration to reevaluate their examination and result management systems, aiming to introduce more efficiency and transparency. Such improvements will not only benefit the current batch of students but also enhance the overall academic environment and reputation of Cluster University, he added.(KNS).
