The National Testing Agency (NTA) will conduct an examination for Junior Assistant cum Typist Posts at Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU). This exam will be conducted to fill a total no. of 200 posts of IGNOU JAT (Junior Assistant cum Typist) in IGNOU by NTA.
The NTA has completed the application process from 22 March to 20 April 2023. Now the IGNOU JAT Exam will be conducted on 31 July 2023.

Tier 2 Skill Test/Typing Test: This tier will be qualifying in nature. Applicants who qualify for the written test will only take part in the skill or typing test.

Exam Pattern for IGNOU JAT Exam 2023
IGNOU Junior Assistant Cum Typist Exam Pattern consists of 5 subjects which are General Awareness, Reasoning & General Intelligence, Mathematical Abilities, Hindi/ English and Comprehension and Computer Knowledge Module.
- The exam will be conducted as a computer-based test.
- The paper will consist of a total no. of 150 questions for 150 marks.
- The time duration will be 2 hours.
- No extra time will be given. The paper will conduct for a total of 150 marks, each correct question will be given one mark. The language of the paper will be bilingual i.e English and Hindi
