High Court of Jammu & Kashmir and Ladakh Announces Summer Working Hours (May–September 2025): Date: April 9, 2025 The High Court of Jammu & Kashmir and Ladakh has officially announced the revised summer working hours for its Jammu Wing and the District Judiciary of Jammu Division. As per Notification No. 1313 of 2025/RG/NG-03(1), dated April 8, 2025, the new schedule will be effective from May 1, 2025, to September 30, 2025.

Revised Working Hours for the High Court (Jammu Wing)

Registry/Office Timing:

First Session: 09:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.
Break: 11:30 a.m. to 12:00 noon
Second Session: 12:00 noon to 02:30 p.m.

Court Timing:

First Session: 08:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.
Break: 11:30 a.m. to 12:00 noon
Second Session: 12:00 noon to 03:00 p.m.

District Courts of Jammu Division (Except Certain Locations)

Applicable Locations: All district courts in Jammu Division except those located at Kishtwar, Batote, Banihal, Gool, Bani, Ukhral, and in the Judicial District of Bhaderwah.

Office Timing:

First Session: 08:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.
Break: 11:30 a.m. to 12:00 noon
Second Session: 12:00 noon to 03:00 p.m.

Court Timing:

First Session: 09:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.
Break: 11:30 a.m. to 12:00 noon
Second Session: 12:00 noon to 02:30 p.m.

Courts Located in Kishtwar, Batote, Banihal, Gool, Bani, Ukhral, and Judicial District Bhaderwah

These courts will follow the summer timings prescribed for the Courts of Kashmir Division and UT of Ladakh, in accordance with High Court Order No. 1638/NG dated 22-05-2020.
