Key Guidelines for Result Confirmation
- Countersigning Authorities:
- ZEOs will countersign results for private schools up to the middle class within their jurisdiction.
- CEOs/Deputy CEOs will countersign results for private high and higher secondary schools within their jurisdiction.
- Requirements for Private Schools:
- Schools must submit the countersigned result of the previous academic year.
- Proof of recognition of the school must be provided.
- Results will only be confirmed if students have the same particulars as in the previous academic year and possess a unique ID (Permanent Education Number).
- Transfer and Birth Certificate Verification:
- If a student appears in the current result but not in the previous year’s countersigned result, an authenticated School Leaving Transfer Certificate from the previous school is mandatory.
- For students in Class 1, a birth certificate must be provided as proof of age.
- Recognition and Permission Compliance:
- Results will be confirmed only for the classes the school is recognized/permitted to conduct.
- Schools that have applied for recognition will have their results authenticated only after receiving clarification from the competent authority.
- Data Maintenance:
- Authorities responsible for countersigning must maintain a proper database of all confirmed/countersigned results for future reference.
