BGSBU PG Admission 2023: About the University
Baba Ghulam Shah Badshah University has come into existence by an Act of the Jammu & Kashmir Legislative Assembly called the Jammu & Kashmir Baba Ghulam Shah Badshah University Act No. XVI of 2002. The University campus is located at the foothills of the great Himalayan Pir Panjal range in Rajouri, 154 KM from Jammu, the Winter capital of J&K State. The region in which the university is located has rich geographic, climatic and cultural diversity. The average temperature varies from 7ºc during winters to 37ºc during summers. The average annual rainfall is 500 mm. The snow-capped peaks of the mighty Himalaya, rich biodiversity and valuable agri-diversity make the entire Rajouri-Poonch region a nature lover’s paradise. The teaching programme designed by various Academic bodies of the university are interactive, flexible and hands on; directed towards helping learners to gain the ability to confidently and effectively answer real life challenges.

- Step 1 – Click on “New Registration”
- Step 2 – Fill the Form to register yourself
- Step 3 – Verify your account by entering the OTP received on your email id
- Step 4 – After successful verification, Click “Login” and enter credentials
- Step 5 – Click on “Profile” Button for Personal details
- Step 6 – Enter Other Details Form
- Step 7 – Upload your Photograph and Signature image
- Step 8 – Save in Draft mode in case you want to make changes, but needs to click Submit and Lock button to lock the profile before applying for any programme
- Step 9 – Continue for the selection of relevant Program and subsequent, Online Registration Fee Payments

- Applicant can log in to the admission portal through their registered CUET Application Number, only.
- Name and other details entered by the applicant need to be the same as in the CUET Application Form Applicant must use their own CUET Application Number.
- Applicants are encouraged to use latest version of Google Chrome web browser for filling the application form.

Q.1 Where to register?
Ans. One can register at this link /registration/user/register. You need CUET Application Number and Date of Birth.
Q. 2 How to verify me as a user’s?
Ans. You will get an OTP in your email. Use the OTP while signing up and you will be verified.
Q. 3 How do I get a refund?
Ans. You don’t have to worry about the refund process. Our system will automatically detect failed transactions and shall initiate a refund within 7-10 days. Please have patience, as it takes time for our system to verify with payment providers/banks. Once the verification is done, we will refund it as soon as possible.
Q. 4 Money deducted from the bank account, but it is still showing failed transaction on our website?
Ans. Yes, sometimes money may be deducted from your bank account, however, due to technical issues, our server couldn’t verify your payment. Is such a scenario, our system keeps track of such transactions. If money has been deducted, it will be refunded within 7-10 days
Q. 5 How to withdraw my application?
Ans. You cannot withdraw your application once you have submitted your application and paid the fee. However, if you need to change any details in your application, you can go to your dashboard and edit it. Change is permitted only before paying the application fee, once the fee is paid, no change can be done to your application
Q. 6 Will I get a refund if I don’t appear for the entrance test?
Ans. Sorry, no refund will be given for non-appearing in the entrance test. However, the refund shall be provided for failure in payment and the money has been deducted from the bank account.
