Candidates who have been allocated a seat in Spot round/CDP/Achievement category and Self Finance in CUET Mode are required to check for the allocation of seat in their admission account and visit the allotted college for admission on or before 19-09-2023 3.00 PM and deposit the admission fee failing which allotted seat will be canceled.

About J&K (UT) Higher Education Admission Portal- 2023
The Higher Education is one of the most important sectors of the development among the social sectors. The Department of Higher Education is charged with the responsibility to monitor and regulate the dissemination of Higher Education above 10+2 level in the UT by extending facilities for opening of colleges and Universities. The Jammu and Kashmir Higher Education Admission Portal – 2023 is being introduced for admission into all UG Programmes in J&K State Universities (Jammu/Kashmir University) for affiliating government colleges, Cluster universities constituent colleges and government autonomous colleges for academic session 2023-24 under the Department of Higher Education J&K. A single portal will enable the Candidates to cover a wide outreach and be part of the admissions process to J&K Higher Education Institutions.

1 . Where to register?
One can register at this link https://jkadmission.samarth.ac.in/. You need CUET Application Number and Date of Birth for CUET based registration. For Non-CUET based registration you will need Email ID. Mobile Number and Date of Birth.
2 . How to verify my account?
You will get an OTP in your email. Use the OTP while signing up and you will be verified.
3 . What to do If I forget my password?
- Click on the “Forgot Password” button at the bottom of Login form.
- Enter your “Registration No./ CUET Application No. ” and captcha information as shown in image.
- Click the “Send” button.
- You will now receive the password reset instructions on your registered email id.
4 . How to login to my account?
- Click the “Login” button on the Home Page.
- Enter your “Registration No./ CUET Application No.” and “Password”
- Enter Captcha information as shown in image.
- Click on “Login” button.
5 . What are steps for submitting the application form?
- Open the URL (https://jkadmission.samarth.ac.in/)
- Select your registration mode CUET or Non-CUET.
- Complete Registration process (which creates ‘Registration No.’ and ‘Password’ for you).
- Your ‘Registration No.’ and ‘Password’ is informed through SMS and email (Profile Completion )
- Login to the portal using your ‘Registration No./CUET Application No.’ and ‘Password.’
- Fill Profile Details, upload your photo, signature & other relevant documents.
- Read the instruction and declaration carefully by clicking the ‘Declaration’ box.
- Preview your Profile and Submit.
(For CUET Applicants)
- After submitting “Profile”, proceed to preference selection section
- View your available preferences based on the eligibility and save your preferences.
- Applicants may edit the preference selection before closing of the application process.
(For Non-CUET Applicants)
- After submitting “Profile”, proceed to “Apply in college” section
- Select university, college and program and submit application.
- After successful submission applicants may download the form from the dashboard.
6 . Program Preference Selection for CUET
- For seeking the admissions to various UG programs, registered candidates are required to select the Programs in which they are eligible.
- Candidate who has appeared for CUET exam are advised to select the CUET based preferences.
a) For CUET candidate; the system will display the CUET score and the various programs in which the candidate is eligible to apply.
b) The candidate can now click the Proceed to Preference Selection Option.
c) The system will display all the preferences in which the candidate is eligible to apply for admission.
d) Candidates are advised to use the filters like District, University, Programme, College to view the various preferences in which the candidate can apply.
e) After selecting the various preferences, candidates can arrange the preference according to their best choices.
f) Candidates are advised to carefully select and arrange their preferences.
g) If the CUET candidate is not finding any suitable preference under CUET preference option, the candidate can select the preference under Non-CUET preference option through his/her CUET Login.

7 . Program Choices Selection for NON-CUET
a) On the left side of the dashboard click Apply for Non-CUET Admissions
b) Select University -> College-> programme Level->Programme
c) Press Proceed
d) Submit the application, tick the checkboxes carefully while submitting the form
e) Repeat the process for applying multiple times
f) Press on the print form button for taking printouts of the forms.
