Big Update regarding NEET (UG) 2025 Exam Set for May 4: The National Testing Agency (NTA) is all set to conduct the NEET (UG) 2025 examination on 4th May 2025, across 5453 exam centres in India and 13 international cities. With over 22.7 lakh students registered, this is one of the largest medical entrance exams in the world. The exam will be held from 2 PM to 5 PM.

To ensure everything runs smoothly, mock drills were successfully conducted today at all centres. The NTA has made detailed arrangements to ensure the examination is conducted in a safe, secure, and fair manner.

Stay Away from Rumours and Fake Promises

In recent days, misinformation and fake news about the NEET exam content have surfaced on social media. The NTA has taken serious action, working closely with the Indian Cyber Crime Coordination Centre to crack down on such activities. Over 165 Telegram channels and 32 Instagram accounts spreading false information have already been targeted.

Action Against Malpractices

Reports have emerged from Rajkot, Gujarat, about individuals promising inflated marks in exchange for money. The Gujarat government has already taken action in this case. Similarly, the Odisha Police have acted swiftly against fraudsters trying to deceive students.

The NTA and State Governments are on high alert to prevent any unfair practices. Anyone caught trying to cheat or manipulate the system will face strict legal consequences under the Public Examinations (Prevention of Unfair Means) Act.

A Message to Students and Parents

The NTA strongly urges students and their parents to:

Trust only official information from the NTA website: nta.ac.in
Avoid middlemen or people claiming they can influence the exam or get you a medical seat
Report suspicious activity via the official “Suspicious Claims Portal”

Any attempt to cheat or exploit students during this critical time will be punished severely. Let’s work together to maintain fairness and transparency in the examination system.
