The All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), under the Ministry of Education, Government of India, has opened online registration for the Special Scholarship Scheme (SSSJKL) for the academic year 2025-26. This scheme is part of the Pradhan Mantri Uchchatar Shiksha Protsahan (PM-USP) Yojana and aims to support students from the Union Territories of Jammu & Kashmir and Ladakh in pursuing higher education across India.

Who Can Apply?

Students who have:

Passed Class 12 (10+2) from JKBOSE or CBSE-affiliated schools located in J&K or Ladakh.
Passed in the sessions 2023-24 (enrolled in 2023, passed in 2024) or 2024-25 (enrolled in 2024, passing in 2025).

Eligible Courses

General Degree Courses
Professional Courses (Engineering, Nursing, Pharmacy, Hotel Management, Architecture, BA LLB through National Law Universities)
Medical/BDS or equivalent

How to Register

Registration Starts: 1st May 2025
Visit your nearest Facilitation Center for registration.
From 6th May 2025 onwards, go to the nearest Facilitation-cum-Document Verification Center (FDVC) for document verification.

Important Notes

Students already receiving any other scholarship (such as through the NSP portal) are not eligible for this scheme.
