JKBOPEE First Round of Physical Counselling: Conduct of First Round of (Physical) counselling for admission to BAMS /BUMS / BPT Courses 2024 and filling-up of the seats in Government/ Private Colleges thereof.

Pursuant to Notification No. 110-BOPEE of 2024 dated 16-09-2024, the Board is going to conduct the First Round of physical Counselling on 24-09-2024 and 26-09-2024 to fill the seats for admission to BAMS/BUMS/BPT Courses 2024 in Government / Private Colleges/Institutions of UT of J&K simultaneously at BOPEE office Jammu / Srinagar as per following schedule:
The Board shall conduct the first round of physical counselling of those candidates who have registered themselves for counseling of BAMS/BUMS/BPT Courses-2024 seats based on the NEET Rank/Score along with the candidates who have already registered themselves for NEET-UG courses, 2024 as per the Provisional Merit List notified vide Notification No. 110-BOPEE of 2024 dated 16-09-2024. Since no objection has been received by the Board till 19.09.2024 vide above referred notification hence the list notified is deemed to be as final for counselling process with no change.

All the eligible/desirous candidates are advised to report physically at BOPEE office Jammu/Srinagar on the above dates between 08:30 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. for attendance and registration along with the following documents in original:
- i) Domicile certificate of UT of J&K (ST Category Certificate in respect of candidates belonging to the UT of Ladakh).
- ii) 12th class Marks card;
- iii) Valid Category Certificate, wherever applicable,
- iv) Date of Birth Certificate (Diploma/10th class Marks certificate);
- v) NEET 2024 score card.
- vi) Any other document as may be required by the College Authorities.
The following procedure shall be followed during first Allotment Round of Physical Counseling:
1. The candidates who have registered themselves vide notification No.095-BOPEE of 2024 dated 04-09-2024 and also the candidates who have already registered themselves for NEET-UG courses, 2024 but failed to deposit fee during filing online choice preference, shall deposit the Counselling fee of Rs.1500/- (Rupees one thousand five hundred only) through the POS Machines available at the BOPEE office Jammu/Srinagar through Debit/Credit cards. Any candidate who fails to deposit the counselling fee shall not be allowed to participate in the counselling process.
2. The seats shall be allotted to the candidates as per S.O. 176 dated 15-03-2024 read with S.O. 305 dated 31-05- 2024 issued by Social Welfare Department, UT of J&K.
3. If any candidate is not able to participate personally in the counselling on the day / date of counselling due to unavoidable circumstances, he/she can authorize his/her close family member who falls in his/her blood relation on the devised format of the Board to participate in the counselling on behalf of the concerned candidate. The said authorized person had to submit the authorization letter along with his identity Card and Aadhar Card during the process of counselling, otherwise he/she shall not be allowed to participate in the counselling on their own risk and responsibility.
4. The counseling shall automatically be stopped as and when the seats get exhausted and no claim(s) from the waiting candidate(s), if any, shall be entertained by the Board.
5. The reservation policy of UT of J&K shall be applicable in the Government Ayurveda / Government Unani Colleges only.
6. The Tentative Seat Matrix shall be made available on the website of the BOPEE www.jkbopee.gov.in before start of the counseling which shall, however, be subject to changes, if any, as deemed necessary by the Board.
7. The seats under BPT in Composite Regional Center (CRC) Bemina, Srinagar and Jammu College of Physiotherapy (JCP), Jammu shall also be filled during this round of counseling.
8. The Seats under the All-India Quota (AIQ) (15%), in Private Ayurveda / Unani Colleges of the UT of J&K shall be filled up by the Board during 2nd Round of physical counseling on the basis of NEET Merit-cum Preferences out of the eligible candidates even from outside the UT of J&K for which separate notice shall be issued by the Board in due course of time. All the willing/eligible candidates are advised to enquire about the admission fee prescribed for such courses from the respective colleges before applying/offering preference for the same.
The other Terms and Conditions shall, however, remain the same as notified by the Board in various Notifications/Notices issued from time to time in this regard.
