JKBOPEE Special Round for Admission to B.E./B.Tech. Courses 2024: The Jammu and Kashmir Board of Professional Entrance Examinations (BOPEE) has opened a special round of admissions for B.E./B.Tech. courses for the year 2024. This opportunity is available for various government and private institutions in the Union Territory (UT) of J&K. Following the completion of three rounds of counseling and after receiving the shortfall report from the institutes, several seats remain vacant. To fill these unoccupied seats, BOPEE is inviting fresh offline applications from eligible candidates.

- Start Date: 12th September 2024
- End Date: 13th September 2024
JKBOPEE Special Round for Admission to B.E./B.Tech. Courses 2024: Eligibility Criteria
- Educational Qualification: Candidates must have passed the 10+2 examination or an equivalent exam with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics as compulsory subjects.
- For candidates applying under the Open Merit Category, including special categories such as Children of Defence Personnel, Para-Military Forces, and Police Personnel, the minimum required marks are 45%.
- Reserved category candidates (SC/ST/RBA/ALC/IB/OBC) are eligible with 40% marks.
- Candidates who have already registered and appeared in the CET conducted by BOPEE on 9th June 2024 are eligible to apply.
JKBOPEE Special Round for Admission to B.E./B.Tech. Courses 2024: Domicile Requirement
- Candidates must be domiciled in the Union Territory of Jammu & Kashmir.
JKBOPEE Special Round for Admission to B.E./B.Tech. Courses 2024: Non-CET Candidates
- Those who have passed 10+2 but did not appear for the CET on 9th June 2024 may also apply in this special round. However, they must meet the minimum eligibility requirements mentioned above. Failure to meet these requirements will result in the cancellation of their application.
JKBOPEE Special Round for Admission to B.E./B.Tech. Courses 2024: Application Process
- Interested candidates can apply offline on plain paper and submit their applications at BOPEE offices in Jammu or Srinagar.
- Candidates applying for the first time must pay an application fee of Rs. 1000/- via POS machines available at the BOPEE offices using Debit or Credit cards.

- This admission process is governed by the J&K Board of Professional Entrance Examinations Act, 2002, and follows the rules and regulations set forth by the Jammu and Kashmir Reservation Act, 2004, as amended by the J&K Re-Organization Act, 2019.
